hi is there a way to make the stream play whatever it is playing on winamp/sam broadcaster rather than microphone or whateva the computer plays because if my computer makes a diff sound it wont be professional....
hi, thanx for the help but isn't there a different way rather using picoIcy because its just like downloading shoutcasting and using it because in shoutcast you have to run a similiar command to make it work..... theres no difference cant you make it like you upload files and its always on instead of you having to turn it on.... like the normal basic picostreamer which you only need the broadcaster... no command to run.
PS and PicoIcy is to live stream.
You cannot use it for uploading files and endless playing. But by
using livestreaming, the result will be much more professional.
(You can listen at http://server5.webstreamcasting.com and hear the result of just allot of free or almost free software programs that are working together and allot of hard working to tune it all. NO PREFESSIONAL BROADCASTING EQUIPMENT IS USED) This results will never be possible by uploading files to a server for endles playing. Btw. there are lots of free programs on the Internet that will can play endlessmusic with uploaded musicfiles.
About the system sounds playing trough your music stream. Just switch off you
systemsound or use to seccond soundcard and keep your systemsounds and
music stream separated. If you want to use a microphone, you
will have to liverecordencode your stream from your mixed channel and open
as wel the wave lines and the mic lines. Then use a
DirectX DSP audio compressor limmiter to process both of the signals.
If you have the signal of your music to bit lover in signal then
the miccophone signal, you wil have to perfect fading effect when you start
announcing.
Advice: Buy a better micophone then just to cheap computer micophone. That will improve the result dramaticaly.
Using this setup, you will have a very professional sounding result, at low cost.
Succes.
